Our client is a leading (and growing!) FinTech and are looking to hire an experienced PostgreSQL engineer.

Offering hybrid, flexible working in London, this is an initial 6 month contract – Flexible rate depending on experience.

You’ll be key in the design, implementation, and support of AWS Aurora and PostgreSQL database systems.

You’ll have the chance to work across optimisation and performance tuning, security implementation, designing data extraction techniques, and creating high availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) solutions – A varied role!

Requirements:

• Proven knowledge of AWS Aurora and PostgreSQL databases
• Strong experience in database optimisation and performance tuning.
• Experience with infrastructure/storage design
• Knowledge of high availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) strategies.
• Database security understanding
