Power BI and Data Reporting Analyst

In this role you will own reporting and visualization, building insightful dashboards using Power BI and advanced Excel. You’ll work with internal teams to specify requirements, automate manual processes, and ensure data integrity. You’ll translate data into actionable insights that support energy delivery and operational decisions. • Design, develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports
• Create, manage and optimise complex Excel spreadsheets and data sets
• Collaborate with internal teams to identify reporting requirements
• Automate manual reporting processes where possible
• Ensure data integrity and accuracy across all reporting outputs
• Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis
• Support colleagues with IT and data-related queries

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, etc.)
• Demonstrable experience with Power BI for reporting and dashboards
• Competent in Microsoft Word and general ICT skills
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Postgraduate qualification in ICT, Data Analytics or related subject (preferred)
• Familiarity with data modelling and extraction principles is advantageous
