POSITION SUMMARY:
The Power Bi & Power Platforms Developer bridges the gap between business needs and technology by transforming raw data into meaningful reports and automating business processes to improve operational efficiency and support data-driven decision‑making
Key Responsibilities and Skills:
Solution design and development
- - Design and develop custom business applications using PowerApps (Canvas and Model-Driven).
- - Create automated workflows and optimize processes with Power Automate.
- - Develop interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI to provide actionable data insights.
- - Build and manage data models and ensure data integrity.
Collaboration and requirements gathering
- - Collaborate with business stakeholders and cross‑functional teams to understand requirements and pain points.
- - Act as a technical contact for senior management and end‑users, providing strategic reporting support.
Technical management and support
- - Maintain and update existing Power Bi and Power Automate Solution.
- - Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues within Power Bi and Power Automate Solution.
- - Ensure solutions are secure, scalable, and follow best practices.
- - Provide training and technical support to end‑users.
Documentation and Best Practices
- - Create detailed technical documentation for developed applications.
- - Stay updated with the latest features and best practices in the Power Platform.
Education/Experience:
- - Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred
- - Intermediate experience with Microsoft Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.
- - Proficiency in data modeling, DAX calculations, and Power Query.
- - Strong SQL skills and understanding of data warehouse concepts.
- - Knowledge of data integration techniques and tools.
- - AI (Claude AI) knowledge and understanding is an asset.

Standard Hours of Work
Common work schedule is Monday through Friday – 8:30am to 5:00pm
