Power BI Report Developer

Develop Power BI reporting solutions in Fredericton with data modelling and visualization expertise. This in-person information technology role supports informed university decisions.

UNB seeks an experienced Power BI Report Developer for a full-time, two-year term with hybrid work support. Reporting to the Director, Business Transformation, you will build reporting solutions, semantic models, and dashboards. Your work will uphold data governance, security, accessibility, and reporting standards across the university.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards
• Create semantic models using Power Query
• Configure visuals, filters, slicers, and drill-through features
• Validate outputs and reconcile findings before publication
• Publish and support reports within Power BI Service

Requirements:

• Relevant post-secondary diploma or equivalent education and experience
• Three years developing reports, dashboards, or analytics solutions
• Hands-on Power BI development and data preparation experience
• Power BI certification or professional development is an asset
• Familiarity with accessibility and inclusive design practices
