Power BI Reporting Data Analyst

Power BI and SQL define this temporary full time Reporting Data Analyst opportunity with Canada Life’s Information Management team. Build analytics solutions for business decisions.

As a Reporting Data Analyst, you will support Canada Operations and Business Enablement teams. You will develop descriptive, diagnostic, and predictive analytics solutions using SQL, Python, Power BI, and statistical techniques. The work spans data, reporting, and analytics projects throughout their lifecycles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Translate business needs into data requirements and analytics projects
• Collect, clean, model, analyze, and visualize large datasets
• Build and maintain data models, reports, and dashboards
• Define and monitor metrics and KPIs for strategic alignment
• Present simplified insights and recommendations to business leaders

Requirements:

• One to three years of relevant experience and related bachelor’s degree
• Experience with SQL, Python, SQL Server, Azure, and Databricks
• Proficiency in Power BI, Power Query, DAX, and data modelling
• Experience creating interactive dashboards and manipulating large datasets
• Strong communication, presentation, and statistical modelling knowledge
