Overview

In this contract role, you will digitise core engineering and design processes by building Power Platform solutions and AI-enabled automations. You will collaborate with the Project Design and Engineering team to translate requirements into scalable data, reporting and automation, spanning Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365 and Azure. You will own development, testing, deployment and ongoing improvements, while ensuring security and performance. This is a hands-on role with a clear impact on KPI reporting and process efficiency.

Responsibilities
  • Design and implement Power Platform solutions using Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI and Dataverse to meet business needs
  • Engage with stakeholders to capture requirements and translate them into technical solutions
  • Develop automated workflows and system integrations across Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365, Azure and third-party apps via APIs and connectors
  • Build, test, validate and deploy applications and automations with quality, security and performance in mind
  • Create AI-enabled solutions using Copilot Studio, AI Builder and intelligent automation capabilities
  • Manage application lifecycle activities including version control and deployment pipelines
  • Support and maintain live solutions, troubleshoot issues, monitor performance and deliver enhancements
  • Produce technical documentation, provide user support and share best practices
  • Run regular reports and respond to data queries; act as single point of contact for KPI reporting and project tracking
  • Interface with other SPEN departments to rationalise data quality and sources; act as document control expert for ACC Autodesk (Forma)
Key requirements
  • Proven experience building Power Apps
  • Flexible attitude to support varying requests
  • Awareness of engineering project delivery
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experience in creating automated workflows and API/connectors
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365, Azure (preferred)
