What we’re looking for:

We are looking for a Power Platform Developer who will be responsible for designing, building and maintaining robust digital solutions using Microsoft Power Platform.

Working within WWU's Microsoft ecosystem, you will transform business and operational requirements into secure, scalable, maintainable and user-centric applications that support operational processes, regulatory compliance, network resilience and the transition to a low-carbon future.

You will work closely with data, product, governance and domain teams, champion engineering standards, promote user-centred design and foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation

You’ll be relied on to:

• Build and maintain internal Power Platform solutions within Data Services to support operational workflows
• Design intuitive, accessible and responsive applications that deliver excellent user experiences
• Own Power Platform solutions across the full development lifecycle, from requirements and prototyping through testing, deployment, support and continuous enhancement
• Monitor and improve application performance, usability and supportability over time
• Work within Agile squads, contributing to refinement, sprint planning, reviews and retrospectives
• Utilise approved Git, Azure DevOps and CI/CD frameworks to deploy and support Power Platform solutions
• Identify opportunities to simplify, automate and improve operational business processes through effective use of Power Platform capabilities

You’ll need to have:

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Engineering or equivalent practical experience
• Experience using Dataverse and Power Automate
• Experience integrating applications with APIs and enterprise systems
• Experience working within Agile delivery environments
• Experience managing application lifecycle management and deployments
