Overview

In this role you will design and optimise power systems for global data centres, from hyperscale campuses to critical infrastructure projects. You will join a London-based team, with a hybrid working arrangement, contributing to high-profile data centre designs. You will tackle power system design and analysis challenges that impact reliability, efficiency, and scalability of critical facilities. This position offers the opportunity to influence projects across regions and to advance within a specialist engineering practice.

Responsibilities
  • Design power systems for a range of data centre facilities (hyperscale to critical infrastructure)
  • Conduct power system analyses to validate performance and reliability
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate electrical designs into overall facility plans
  • Utilise industry-standard software for modelling and protection coordination
  • Support delivery from concept through to construction on global projects
Key requirements
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
  • Chartered Engineer status with a recognised institution
  • Experience in power system design
  • Experience in power system analysis
  • Experience with ETAP, SKM, DigSILENT, POWERFactory or similar software
  • Experience within the data centre or critical infrastructure sector
