In this hybrid UK-based role, you translate customer needs into Autodesk-based workflows and roadmaps, acting as a trusted technical strategist in a pre-sales capacity. You collaborate with cross-functional teams to articulate value, deliver impactful technical sessions, and help shape customer ROI. You’ll promote Autodesk solutions, build credibility as a technical expert, and influence revenue growth while aligning with product and industry trends.

Responsibilities
  • Discover customer needs and align Autodesk solution advice with ROI illustrations
  • Build trust to support development of strategic technical roadmaps
  • Deliver technical presentations at customer-facing events, meetings and webinars
  • Coordinate technical resources from extended teams
  • Collaborate with sales to identify revenue growth opportunities
  • Provide feedback to Product teams to improve Autodesk solutions
  • Develop technical content for use in pre-sales activities and sales automation
  • Promote Autodesk solutions and establish an industry profile as a technical expert
Key requirements
  • Technical knowledge of Autodesk products such as AutoCAD, Inventor, Fusion, Vault or Fusion Manage
  • Knowledge of manufacturing technology solutions from other vendors is a plus
  • Knowledge of manufacturing industry processes, workflows and technology trends
  • Knowledge of product data, document or lifecycle management concepts
  • Knowledge of Enterprise IT concepts desirable
  • Experience in the UK Manufacturing Industry but flexible to serve multiple industries
  • Excellent written and spoken English
  • Excellent presentation and storytelling skills
  • Willingness to travel within the UK and Republic of Ireland, with some travel to other global locations
