Overview

As a Presales DevOps / DevSecOps Platform Architect, you design enterprise engineering platforms that enable fast, secure software delivery. You collaborate across solution, cloud, security, and application teams to establish modern platform engineering capabilities, automated pipelines, and integrated security. This senior, client-facing role requires translating business and engineering needs into scalable platform solutions. You will shape market-facing offerings and influence strategic decisions while working with diverse customers on complex infra challenges.

Responsibilities
  • Lead architecture of enterprise DevOps, DevSecOps, and Platform Engineering solutions
  • Design engineering platforms for cloud-native and hybrid delivery
  • Define end-to-end CI/CD pipelines with build, test, security, deployment, and observability
  • Embed security, governance, and compliance throughout the SDLC
  • Design Internal Developer Platforms to boost standardisation and productivity
  • Define Infrastructure as Code strategies using Terraform, Bicep, Ansible, Pulumi, or equivalents
  • Architect container platforms using Kubernetes/OpenShift/AKS/EKS/GKE or similar
  • Lead customer workshops and contribute to bids, cost models, and executive presentations
  • Support development of Atos DevOps, Platform Engineering, and Cloud-Native offerings and accelerators
Key requirements
  • 7+ years in DevOps, Platform Engineering, Cloud Engineering, or Solution Architecture roles
  • Experience designing enterprise CI/CD platforms with Azure DevOps, GitHub Enterprise, GitLab, Jenkins, Argo CD, or equivalents
  • Proven track record architecting secure DevSecOps pipelines and automated compliance frameworks
  • Deep knowledge of Infrastructure as Code and platform automation
  • Experience designing Kubernetes-based container platforms
  • Experience with observability tools (Datadog, Dynatrace, Grafana, Prometheus, Splunk, Elastic)
  • Experience supporting complex presales engagements and communicating with senior stakeholders
