Presales Solutions Architect – Cloud & AI Platforms

What you\'ll be doing:

The Presales Solutions Architect - Cloud and AI Platforms is a trusted advisor helping customers define, design and adopt technology solutions that deliver measurable business outcomes. Working with Sales and the wider Practice teams, the role provides technical leadership from discovery and solution design through to adoption planning, transition and value realisation.

Domain focus: Azure cloud platforms, data services and AI foundations, including migration, modernisation, platform engineering, analytics, generative AI and cloud economics.

• Lead customer discovery to understand business goals, technical challenges and transformation priorities.
• Design secure, scalable and cost-effective Azure, Data and AI solutions, translating requirements into clear architectures and roadmaps.
• Shape cloud migrations, landing zones, application modernisation and platform engineering opportunities.
• Design modern data and AI foundations using Microsoft Fabric, Azure AI and Azure OpenAI.
• Deliver customer workshops, demonstrations, executive briefings and technical presentations.
• Provide technical leadership throughout the sales process, supporting solution shaping, proposals, bids and strategic opportunities.
• Lead proofs of concept and value, helping customers validate solutions and demonstrate measurable outcomes.
• Advise on cloud security, identity, governance, compliance, resilience, operations and FinOps.
• Work closely with Sales, Delivery, Security and specialist teams to manage technical risks and ensure a smooth transition into delivery.

• Are experienced in either presales, solution architecture, consulting or technical advisory roles in a Microsoft environment
• Can demonstrate experience leading customer discovery and solution-shaping engagements
• Are experienced influencing senior business and technical stakeholders
• Can provide evidence of supporting complex sales cycles through successful handover
• Are committed to continual professional development and hold relevant Microsoft certifications.
