Overview
As Storage Architect – Unstructured Data, AI & Analytics, you design scalable file and S3 object storage solutions for AI and analytics workloads. You’ll work closely with customers to translate requirements into practical storage architectures, sizing, and validation through workshops and POCs. Your expertise will shape product feedback and roadmap while engaging with sales and engineering teams. This role combines technical depth with customer influence in a hybrid, office-based setting.

- Architect and document enterprise-scale file and object storage solutions
- Analyze data flows, workloads, and management requirements to guide design
- Size environments for performance, capacity, and scalability
- Lead hands-on POCs validating performance and integration
- Design storage for AI inference, RAG, analytics, and data lake workloads
- Explain data ingestion, processing, protection, movement, governance, and consumption across pipelines
- Provide competitive analysis and solution guidance to sales and technical teams
- Present architectures to executive and technical audiences
- Support RFIs/RFPs, solution sizing, and technical justification
- 7+ years in enterprise storage/data architectures
- Strong customer-facing architecture or presales experience
- Solid knowledge of S3 object storage (buckets, objects, APIs, security)
- Working knowledge of NFS/SMB
- Experience sizing storage for capacity, performance, growth
- Ability to plan, configure, and troubleshoot POCs
- Understanding of AI/analytics data pipelines (inference, RAG, data lakes)
- Knowledge of storage performance concepts (throughput, latency, IOPS, metadata)
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
