Prevention Advisor Commercial Risk Control

Assess commercial property, liability, and auto fleet risks for Unica Insurance while delivering practical loss prevention recommendations. This regular position includes travel to insured properties.

As a Prevention Advisor, you will survey exposures, evaluate operational and safety practices, and support Commercial Insurance underwriting. You will also collaborate with Leadership and Claims. Your work will help communicate risk opinions, loss information, and recommendations through reports and presentations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess commercial property and commercial auto fleet risks
• Evaluate operational, safety, and hazardous conditions
• Travel to insured properties and complete risk assessments
• Document structures, controls, hazards, and measurements
• Submit narrative reports to underwriting departments

Requirements:

• Minimum three years of property and commercial auto risk control experience
• Knowledge of property, liability, and auto insurance
• University or college degree
• Background in construction, safety, fire safety, or risk services
• Valid driver's license and good driving record
