We are seeking a Geriatrics Physician for a 60-day assignment in California. This full-time, Monday through Friday role involves managing comprehensive, all-inclusive PACE (Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly) work for patients aged 55 and above, with a focus on general geriatric visits and required administrative duties. Responsibilities and Duties Provide comprehensive, all-inclusive care within the PACE program for patients aged 55 and older. Perform general geriatric visits, including wellness checks and managing conditions such as cold, cough, flu, diabetes, and hypertension. Manage a workload that includes significant paperwork and administrative duties. Serve an underserved patient population, with a high percentage of Medicaid recipients. Collaborate with Spanish-speaking MAs and utilize translators to support a patient base that is 75% Spanish-speaking. Additional Information Board Certification: Geriatric Medicine EMR: Epic Support Staff: Translators and Spanish-speaking Medical Assistants are available to assist with patient communication.
