Prime Trade Support Analyst Toronto

Support prime trade operations in Toronto using trade lifecycle knowledge, reconciliations, and client service skills within Scotiabank’s office environment. Manage time-sensitive activity across global products and stakeholders.

As a Prime Trade Support Middle Office Analyst, you will support client trade administration, system enablement, mapping, onboarding, and services. The work spans banking and capital markets operations, with responsibility for accurate bookings, matching, settlement, and issue resolution. You will operate independently while escalating issues promptly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support client trade lifecycle activities across prime business lines
• Coordinate bookings, matching, and settlement across multiple asset classes
• Investigate FOBO, FX, and other reconciliation breaks
• Use DUCO for applicable automated reconciliations
• Monitor high-volume mailbox activity within agreed SLAs

Requirements:

• One to two years of post-graduate industry or academic experience
• Knowledge of banking or capital markets operations
• Communication, negotiation, and stakeholder interaction skills
• Process mapping, analytical problem solving, and process engineering knowledge
• SQL, VBA, Access, and Excel experience
