Principal AI Platform Engineer

Lead AI platform engineering as a Principal Forward Deployed Engineer, applying Go, Python, TypeScript, and Kubernetes expertise across enterprise accounts. As a Principal engineer in the Infrastructure Software Division, you will serve as a technical authority and enterprise developer advocate. You will connect customer developers, platform engineers, product managers, and executive architects. Your work spans Developer Experience, API architecture, LLM platforms, and cloud-native infrastructure. Key Responsibilities:

Architect production environments for LLM inference and RAG pipelines Design REST, gRPC, GraphQL APIs and enterprise SDKs Build Kubernetes operators, controllers, and custom resource definitions Develop production Go, Python, and TypeScript platform tooling Translate field friction into product roadmap requirements Requirements:

17+ years of professional technical software experience 10+ years of software engineering experience 5+ years in DevEx, API, or AI platforms Advanced Go, Python, and TypeScript or Node.js proficiency Deep Kubernetes, GitOps, and API design expertise Bring enterprise credibility and hands-on AI infrastructure skills to shape developer platforms, APIs, and production engineering practices.
