Principal AI Systems Architect

Lead AI architecture at OpenText, applying cloud platforms and secure software delivery to build globally used digital platforms and solutions.

This Principal IT Systems Architect role focuses on AI-enabled applications, agentic workflows, web platforms, APIs, integrations, data services, and cloud deployment. You will translate business requirements into target architectures, guide large-scale initiatives, establish reusable patterns, and direct solutions from proof of concept through production. The work spans architecture, development, deployment, governance, security, and operational readiness.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end architecture for AI-enabled applications and cloud platforms
• Translate business outcomes into secure, scalable target architectures
• Define patterns for model access, retrieval, orchestration, and oversight
• Guide solutions through pilots, production, and lifecycle controls
• Communicate architecture decisions to senior leaders and stakeholders

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
• 12 years of related professional experience
• Large-scale architecture experience through production operation
• Expertise in cloud, distributed systems, APIs, security, or data
• Experience architecting AI-enabled applications and operational monitoring
