Global technology consultancy seeks a Principal Backend Engineer to own design and delivery on complex transformation projects in financial services. You will lead technical engagements, build scalable Java applications with Spring Boot and microservices, and migrate legacy systems to AWS while advancing CI/CD and cloud deployment practices. The role blends hands-on coding with technical leadership and client-facing collaboration to deliver meaningful outcomes. This is a hybrid London-based role with cross-functional teamwork and opportunities to shape modern software platforms.
