Principal Backend Engineer — Remote Architecture Leader

SchemeServe Ltd. in the UK is seeking an exceptional Principal Backend Engineer to shape our backend engineering strategy, architecture and technical direction.

You’ll be one of the most technically experienced engineers and the CTO's primary technical partner for backend engineering. This is a deeply technical, influence-led role where you guide designs, review implementations, manage risks and trade-offs, and mentor teams to improve software quality.
