As Principal Engineer, you will partner with business representatives and technical teams to improve enterprise technology solutions. You will define data protection strategies, standards, reference architectures, and roadmaps across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid platforms. The work supports business strategy, security requirements, regulations, and future initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement on-premises and cloud-native backup solutions
• Define enterprise data protection architecture and technology roadmaps
• Establish cyber vaulting, immutable storage, and recovery standards
• Lead disaster recovery testing and recovery assurance programs
• Provide highest-level escalation support for complex platform incidents

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical technical experience
• 8+ years of enterprise backup and recovery engineering experience
• 5+ years designing large-scale data protection architectures
• Advanced IBM Storage Protect, Cohesity, NetBackup, and Veeam experience
• PowerShell, Python, Ansible, Terraform, and REST API automation experience
