Principal Business Analyst - CRM Platforms

As a Principal Business Analyst in the Data Technology Platforms Team, you will shape data solutions that drive business outcomes across Schroders’ Asset Management Platform. You’ll bridge business needs with data governance, quality, and analytics, working closely with data engineers and stakeholders to deliver scalable data capabilities. You’ll leverage SQL and cloud data warehousing to validate data and enable compliant, end-to-end delivery. This role offers impact at scale within a collaborative, flexible tech culture.

• Represent the Data Technology Platforms team across multiple initiatives to ensure data solutions align with business outcomes
• Lead discovery and requirement elicitation with stakeholders; facilitate workshops and resolve ambiguity
• Translate needs into epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, data definitions, and mappings
• Collaborate with data engineers, architects, QA, and support teams to shape solutions and ensure traceability
• Use SQL to profile and validate data in SQL Server and Snowflake; support impact analysis and UAT readiness
• Support testing and release activities end-to-end, including defect management and production readiness
• Own change management through production cutover, release notes, and early-life support coordination
• Manage multiple priorities, surfacing risks and delivery trade-offs

• Proven BA experience delivering data/technology change in a regulated environment
• Strong SQL querying skills with SQL Server and Snowflake (or equivalent)
• Robust requirements engineering: elicitation, documentation, acceptance criteria, traceability
• Ability to challenge requirements constructively and balance short-term delivery with strategy
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication with senior business/tech stakeholders
• Strong analytical/problem-solving skills; ability to work with large, complex datasets
