As Principal Business Analyst (Identity) you will shape and lead identity-related discovery, assessment and delivery for clients, combining deep IAM expertise with product thinking. You’ll operate with senior stakeholders, guide service direction, and help build Hippo’s internal Identity capability. You’ll work across bids, discoveries, and live delivery to frame problems, set priorities, and drive outcomes that scale secure, data-driven digital services. This role offers influence across multiple accounts and the opportunity to grow a dedicated Identity practice within a collaborative, agile culture.

- Lead Identity-focused discovery, assessment, and delivery efforts for clients
- Shape product and service direction, manage high-level scope and delivery approaches
- Build trusted relationships with senior client executives and mediating conflicting priorities
- Support bids, proposals, RFPs, and pre-build assessments requiring Identity expertise
- Line manage, coach, and mentor other BAs and grow Hippo’s Identity capability through community work
- Identity and IAM expertise with practical experience in IAM architectures and industry terminology
- Experience across customer, workforce, and non-human identity (Agentic AI)
- Strong knowledge of security methods and patterns (verification, MFA, RBAC/ABAC/PBAC, JML, IGA, SSO, Zero Trust)
- Familiarity with identity tools (Okta, Ping, SailPoint, iProov, Entrust, OneLogin) and cloud platforms (Microsoft Entra, AWS, Google)
- Client leadership and ability to translate complex concepts for non-technical audiences
- Problem solving and delivery skills to turn ambiguity into clear recommendations and manage risks
- Cross-functional collaboration with Product, Delivery, Architecture, and Engineering
- Mentorship and coaching to develop BAs and grow internal capability
- Experience establishing an Identity-focused BA framework or competency (desirable)
- Exposure to Fraud Prevention, Zero Trust, and Cyber Security contexts (desirable)
