Principal Campus Network Architect

Lead HPE Mist Campus & Branch architecture from home in Calgary, using enterprise networking expertise to shape strategic customer solutions. This remote role centers on technical leadership.

As a Principal Architect, you will support complex opportunities and customers across HPE’s Campus & Branch portfolio. You will partner with Field PLMs, territory managers, systems engineers, product management, engineering, and support. Your work includes discovery, architecture workshops, proofs of concept, migrations, validation, escalations, and technical enablement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead architecture discussions, whiteboarding sessions, and solution design
• Architect wired, wireless, switching, routing, and campus fabric solutions
• Guide complex proofs of concept and migration planning
• Review telemetry, evidence, architecture, and systemic customer risks
• Mentor Field PLMs and Systems Engineers on advanced architectures

Requirements:

• Extensive enterprise networking architecture and pre-sales experience
• Expert knowledge of wired, wireless, switching, routing, and network design
• Deep understanding of EVPN/VXLAN and campus fabric architectures
• Knowledge of identity, NAC, segmentation, branch/WAN, and AI-driven operations
• Relevant advanced networking, wireless, or security certifications
