Overview

In this role you will strengthen the reliability and scalability of the Workspace platform, collaborating across AWS and Azure to design and operate cloud-native services. You will contribute hands-on engineering work, guidance, and long-term platform direction in a collaborative, learning-focused environment. You’ll apply SRE principles to improve availability, performance, and cost efficiency, while shaping observability and deployment practices. This is an opportunity to influence how we build and run reliable systems at scale in financial tech.

Responsibilities
  • Design and operate resilient, scalable Workspace platform services with a focus on availability, performance, and cost
  • Develop and refine SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets; drive incident-based learning and improvement
  • Contribute to distributed systems design and platform direction, including container platforms (EKS), networking, storage, and security
  • Own production systems collaboratively; investigate complex issues and enhance observability and root-cause analysis
  • Automate infrastructure, delivery pipelines, and operational processes; support CI/CD with GitLab and IaC tooling
  • Embed security and governance into engineering practices; ensure regulatory alignment and safe delivery
  • Share knowledge, mentor, document, and establish reusable patterns to improve platform consistency
Key requirements
  • Extensive cloud engineering, SRE, or DevOps experience at senior/principal level
  • Hands-on with AWS and/or Azure; proficient with Kubernetes-based platforms (EKS) and Linux
  • Familiar with SRE concepts, observability practices, and incident-driven improvement
  • Experience with CI/CD tooling (GitLab) and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform)
  • Understanding of cloud-native networking and high-availability design
  • Comfortable working in Agile or Scrum teams
