Overview

In this role you will lead a UK Digital & Cloud Practice team to deliver scalable, secure software on large transformation and migration projects. You will own and shape technical solutions, contribute to architecture and governance, and mentor colleagues while collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders. This position sits at the intersection of delivery leadership and hands-on engineering, helping clients navigate a evolving technology landscape. You will work on high-impact initiatives that drive customer success and business growth within a values-driven, global partner environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide technical leadership to coordinate delivery of scalable, secure solutions
  • Operate within agile/project management methods to ensure timely, high-quality software
  • Take technical ownership of products, including design, estimation, shaping and user story creation
  • Document architectures, configurations, releases and handover
  • Collaborate with PMs, BAs, Testing, Product and other stakeholders in the lifecycle
  • Deliver effective knowledge transfer to team members and customers
  • Coach and develop junior team members and foster team collaboration
Key requirements
  • Deep understanding of coding best practices and modern architectural patterns (microservices, event-driven)
  • Experience addressing non-functional requirements in applications
  • Application/digital services design experience
  • Proficiency in software engineering practices (code reviews, CI/CD, SOLID/DRY)
  • Hands-on experience: Frontend (JavaScript/TypeScript, Angular, React, Node); Backend (Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate); Kotlin desirable
  • Experience in estimation and sizing
  • Experience in integration and API design
  • Proficiency in cloud technologies
  • Interest in emerging AI technologies
  • SC Eligible security clearance
  • Collegial collaboration
  • Clear communication across technical and non-technical audiences
  • Mentoring and coaching
  • Frontend: JavaScript/TypeScript, Angular, React, Node
  • Backend: Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate
  • Kotlin (desirable)
