As a Principal MuleSoft Developer in the Digital Innovation team at National Bank, you'll be a hands-on technical specialist responsible for designing and delivering integration solutions on the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform. With your strong development skills, your experience building API-led integrations in complex enterprise environments, and your knowledge of integration patterns, security, and DevOps practices, you'll have a positive impact on the Bank's ability to deliver connected, modern experiences to our clients and employees.

Your role

  • Design and develop robust, reusable APIs and integrations on the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform
  • Lead the technical delivery of integration components from analysis through production deployment
  • Ensure code quality, performance, and security through peer reviews, automated testing, and adherence to best practices
  • Collaborate with architects, business analysts, and product partners to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions
  • Support and mentor fellow developers to strengthen the team's MuleSoft expertise
  • Identify opportunities to improve integration standards, reusable assets, and CI/CD automation
  • Participate in the evolution of our integration roadmap and target architecture

Your team

As part of the IT sector, you'll be on a team of 5 colleagues and you'll report to the Senior Director - Delivery Lead. Prerequisites

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum 5 to 7 years of software development experience, including 3+ years hands-on with the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform
  • MuleSoft Certified Developer certification (Level 1 or Level 2); Integration Architect certification an asset
  • Proficient in API-led connectivity, RAML/OpenAPI, DataWeave, CI/CD pipelines, and enterprise integration patterns
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure), messaging systems (Kafka, JMS), and enterprise security standards (OAuth, mTLS)
