Champion DevSecOps remotely from Kimberley by securing CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated controls throughout the software development lifecycle.

As Principal Information Security Engineer, you will shape secure software delivery within a software development company. Your work spans security automation, cloud controls, container security, and secure coding. Collaboration with development, QA, and operations teams remains central to embedding protection across engineering workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and maintain SAST, DAST, SCA, and IAST pipeline tools
  • Enforce secure coding standards across engineering teams
  • Secure infrastructure as code, containers, and cloud environments
  • Automate vulnerability scanning and compliance checks
  • Conduct application architecture and infrastructure design reviews

Requirements:

  • Eight-plus years in software development, security engineering, or DevSecOps
  • Experience integrating Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps security
  • Knowledge of OWASP Top 10 and vulnerability types
  • Hands-on AWS, Azure, or GCP and Docker or Kubernetes experience
  • Python, Go, Bash, Terraform, or Ansible proficiency
