Overview
In this hybrid London-based role, you will lead and evolve all EDA environments while shaping the analog CAD flows for ASIC development. You will steer the EDA team across multiple projects and work closely with design and layout engineers in the tape-out flow. You’ll manage the interface with foundries to support ASIC fabrication deliveries and sign-off criteria. This is a chance to contribute to breakthrough quantum computing hardware and software in a fast-growing, R&D-focused environment. You will play a pivotal role in driving scalable, high-quality EDA solutions that enable cutting-edge silicon work.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain all EDA environments for the company
- Manage EDA team resources across multiple projects and teams
- Collaborate with design and layout engineers in the tape-out flow
- Interface with foundries for ASIC fabrication flows and sign-off criteria
- Provide expert Analog CAD support and develop analog design flows for ASICs
Key requirements
- Extensive CAD/EDA expertise with a focus on Analog CAD and analog ASIC design flows
- Experience interfacing with foundries and understanding fabrication deliveries and sign-off criteria
- Proficiency in Cadence Virtuoso, Siemens Calibre, and Keysight ADS tool suites
- Scripting experience (Python, Bash, Perl)
- Leadership and people-management abilities
