Principal Engineer

As Principal Engineer, you will lead autonomous cross-functional squads to deliver impactful software for healthcare and drug discovery. You’ll guide agile ways of working and drive product success across teams, while still actively coding. You shape solutions from cloud-native Python applications to scalable deployments, influencing architecture and quality. • Oversee several autonomous cross-functional squads
• Drive agile ways of working and align squads with product goals
• Lead collaboration across squads to fix and enhance features
• Develop and maintain cloud-native software using Python and related frameworks
• Contribute to end-to-end software development lifecycle
• Implement deployments with Terraform and CI/CD with GitLab
• Hands-on coding to develop high-quality software and set standards

• Experience as Principal/lead engineer or similar senior role
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional, multi-squad collaboration
• Background in cloud-native software development with Python
• Experience with Terraform for deployments
• Experience with GitLab CI/CD workflows
