Principal Engineer

In this role, you drive the design and delivery of highways and drainage schemes within a multidisciplinary infrastructure firm. You will lead technical delivery, guide project teams, and collaborate with clients and authorities to support growth and sustainable communities. • Lead the design and delivery of highways and drainage projects
• Act as technical lead on infrastructure schemes
• Manage budgets, programmes and resources
• Liaise with clients, local authorities and stakeholders
• Review and approve outputs by engineers/technicians
• Mentor and develop junior team members
• Contribute to bid preparation, fee proposals and business development
• Ensure compliance with design standards and client requirements

• Degree qualified in Civil Engineering or related discipline
• Proven experience delivering highways infrastructure projects in a consultancy
• Strong knowledge of highways design standards (DMRB, Manual for Streets)
• Experience managing projects and technical teams
