Principal Engineer (DotNet)

As Principal Engineer, you will define engineering strategy and roadmaps, guiding large-scale, cloud-native systems to be scalable, secure, and resilient. You’ll influence multiple teams, mentor engineers, and drive modern delivery practices including DevOps and observability. This role offers influence over architecture and technology choices across the organization with a focus on AI-assisted engineering and secure-by-design principles. You’ll work with senior leaders to shape the future of enterprise platforms used by millions.

• Define engineering strategy, architecture standards and roadmaps
• Lead design of large-scale, cloud-native distributed systems
• Champion DevOps, CI/CD, automation and modern delivery practices
• Drive innovation by evaluating emerging technologies and AI capabilities
• Partner with senior engineering leaders to influence technical direction
• Lead architectural decisions for high-availability, enterprise-scale platforms
• Promote Secure-by-Design principles throughout the software lifecycle
• Introduce observability practices including monitoring, logging, SLI/SLO
• Mentor Staff Engineers and development teams
• Foster collaborative culture focused on continuous improvement and innovation

• Extensive experience designing scalable, resilient distributed systems
• Deep hands-on expertise with ASP.NET Core, C#, Web API, Entity Framework
• Strong knowledge of Azure, Kubernetes, Kafka, Microservices, MongoDB
• Experience leading engineering strategy across multiple teams or domains
• Experience mentoring engineers and communicating with stakeholders
• Leadership as Principal, Lead or Staff Engineer in a modern organization
