Principal Enterprise AI Architect

Shape enterprise AI architecture in London with Java, Spring Boot, agentic workflows, and LLM integrations in a hybrid work environment.

As Principal AI Solutions Architect, you will report to the VP of Software Engineering. You will guide intelligent services across enterprise technology, applying AI patterns to practical, scalable solutions. Your work spans cloud, hybrid, and distributed systems while supporting AI transformation strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define enterprise AI architecture strategy and agentic workflow patterns
• Architect Java, Spring Boot, Spring AI, and microservices solutions
• Align AI initiatives with enterprise architecture and security standards
• Define governance, observability, responsible AI, and model lifecycle controls
• Mentor technical teams and advise senior technology leadership

Requirements:

• Several years of software engineering and architecture experience
• Five plus years designing large-scale distributed systems
• Experience with RAG, LLM integration, vector databases, and orchestration
• Cloud-native and hybrid-cloud experience with Kubernetes and CI/CD
• Strong communication across complex, matrixed organizations
