Overview

In this role you will steer enterprise architecture initiatives for Universal Banking’s Essence product, guiding large-scale transformations from discovery through implementation. You’ll work with clients and Finastra teams across pre-sales, deployment, and post-implementation to align complex tech landscapes with strategic goals. You’ll shape target architectures, roadmaps, and cloud adoption across multiple deployment models, including hybrid and on-prem. This position offers high-impact work at scale, influencing how banks transform core, digital banking, and analytics capabilities. You’ll partner with customers and colleagues to deliver measurable value and sustainable architecture.

Responsibilities
  • Support large-scale technology transformation to deliver customer value via enterprise architecture management
  • Create artifacts (blueprints, roadmaps) using EA frameworks to communicate transformations
  • Map as-is and future-state architectures to support pre-sales and project work
  • Analyze existing architectures to define architectural options and recommended changes
  • Articulate value of target architecture and guide realization of benefits
  • Design and implement EA strategies, operating models, and roadmaps across public, private, hybrid cloud and on-prem
  • Support complex multi-vendor integrations with third parties and Finastra solutions
  • Stay abreast of retail and core banking trends to inform changes to EA
  • Guide customers through their cloud transformation journey
  • Provide EA guidance throughout the customer lifecycle as a trusted advisor
Key requirements
  • Extensive experience in enterprise, solution, and software architecture
  • Strong background in core banking systems and financial services software
  • Proven track record deploying cloud solutions
  • Experience with security compliance and data integrity
  • Knowledge of data privacy regulations and best practices for data security
  • Understanding of business processes and aligning them with enterprise design standards
  • Ability to create scalable architectural landscapes that meet standards and priorities
  • Experience engaging with senior stakeholders
  • Expert presentation skills
  • Strong collaboration and prioritization skills across teams
