Principal Infrastructure Automation Engineer

Lead enterprise infrastructure automation with Terraform, Ansible, and Linux expertise for a large Canadian enterprise organization. This is a 12-month current opening.

As Principal Automation Engineer, you will shape Infrastructure as Code strategies across enterprise environments. The work spans Linux, virtualization, containers, hybrid cloud, scripting, monitoring tools, and technical leadership. You will guide reliable operations through standards, governance, and security practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop enterprise-wide infrastructure automation strategies
• Execute Infrastructure as Code strategies across environments
• Design scalable automation for Linux and virtualization
• Establish infrastructure standards, governance, and security practices
• Provide mentorship and architectural guidance to engineering teams

Requirements:

• 10+ years in infrastructure automation or related fields
• Advanced enterprise Linux, virtualization, and container knowledge
• Strong Terraform and Ansible experience
• Python or scripting and programming experience
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
