Principal Integration and System Validation Engineer

In this role you will plan and execute both lab and field testing for the Land Ceptor integration programme, supporting MBDA’s customer demonstrations across the UK, Poland, and the USA. You will work within the Integration and Systems Validation team to qualify equipment, identify issues, and drive resolutions. The role involves hands-on testing with real equipment, and collaboration with external stakeholders to deliver the weapon system. Travel and extended site work are expected, with opportunities to contribute to a key GBAD programme on a global stage.

• Plan and conduct full system testing (lab and field) across multiple sites
• Perform functional and physical tests, equipment qualification and acceptance
• Identify problems and implement resolutions
• Support demonstrations of capability to MBDA's customer sites
• Coordinate testing activities with stakeholders across the UK, Poland and the USA
• Prepare for trial activities at the Bristol test and integration facility

• Experience planning and conducting physical and functional test activities, ideally in defence products
• Knowledge of Design Proving, Design Verification, System Integration and System Acceptance (beneficial)
• Experience leading small test teams with minimal supervision
• Willingness to travel and work extended periods at trial sites in Poland, the USA and the UK
• Security clearance: BPSS after offer (British citizen or dual UK national)
