Overview

In this role, you will plan and execute trials to demonstrate integration and qualification of MBDA Weapon Systems within a System of Systems context. You’ll collaborate across partner, customer, and internal teams to acquire data, analyze system behavior, and support risk-aware, safe trials across labs, multi-site environments, and live firing demonstrations. This fast-paced, customer-facing position offers hands-on experience with real equipment and exposure to global stakeholders. You will help deliver the latest GBAD programme capabilities while influencing system verification activities.

Responsibilities
  • Plan and execute trials to demonstrate integration and gather evidence for qualification
  • Coordinate with systems engineering, design teams, and partners to acquire necessary trial data and resolve issues
  • Analyze system behavior across internal and external interfaces and report findings
  • Deliver trials across lab rigs, System of Systems integrations, acceptance, and firing environments
  • Support failure investigations and maintain trial risk assessments and hardware/software assets/configuration control
Key requirements
  • Experience with V&V lifecycle, requirements management, and defect reporting
  • Effective communication with diverse engineering and management stakeholders
  • Experience working in large, multi-site teams across departments
  • Familiarity with DOORS and Engineering Test Management (ETM) tools
  • Understanding of network concepts; ability to configure and manage switches/routers
  • Basic understanding of network/cable assembly drawings; fault finding and root cause analysis at subsystem level
