Overview
In this Principal Mobile Engineer role, you will own the end-to-end development and release of large-scale mobile apps for a new, greenfield venture in digital banking. You’ll shape architecture, SDLC, and engineering practices, while hands-on implementing features for Android and iOS using modern tech. You’ll guide CI/CD and testing strategies for the mobile stack and mentor teammates to foster a strong engineering culture. This role blends technical influence with delivery at scale, across multi-region deployments.

- Own end-to-end mobile app development and release for Android and iOS in a greenfield project
- Design, review and shape architecture, SDLC, and design decisions
- Implement the app and contribute to core features
- Lead CI/CD and testing stack for the mobile application
- Mentor teammates and contribute to engineering culture
- Coordinate multi-region app releases to App Store and Google Play
- Guide best practices for code quality, performance, and security
- Extensive experience building and releasing multi-region mobile apps to App Store and Google Play
- Proficiency with React Native and TypeScript
- Experience with AWS and/or GCP
- Knowledge of Kubernetes
- Familiarity with Github Actions and ArgoCD
- Strong understanding of SDLC, architecture, and design for mobile apps
