Responsibilities
  • Own the most complex, non-recurring mobile challenges across native and cross-platform work, including device connectivity and AI-driven development.
  • Defend and evolve long-term architecture decisions and production readiness.
  • Define mobile engineering standards, patterns, testing philosophy, and cross-platform strategy.
  • Set integration patterns across mobile, cloud, firmware, and connected devices; drive React Native vs. native decisions.
  • Lead technical thought leadership through design reviews and communities of practice.
  • Mentor senior engineers and build reusable frameworks and reference architectures.
  • Champion AI-driven development workflows within the mobile organization.
  • Define AI integration for mobile with on-device inference and data contracts to cloud AI services.
Key requirements
  • 12+ years of progressive software engineering experience.
  • Deep expertise in iOS (Swift), Android (Kotlin), and React Native.
  • Proven track record solving architectural and scalability challenges for mobile at scale.
  • Strong mobile-to-cloud integration, BLE/Wi-Fi connectivity, and full-stack understanding from firmware to cloud.
  • Recognized technical authority with ability to set scalable standards and frameworks.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication for leadership and stakeholders.
