Overview

As Principal Platform Architect, you will lead the design and delivery of enterprise-scale cloud platforms to enable large-scale business transformation. You’ll set architectural direction, establish platform standards, and guide multi-disciplinary agile teams to meet business outcomes and non-functional requirements. You’ll partner with senior stakeholders to translate complex tech into strategic decisions and act as a technology ambassador and mentor. This role offers impact across architecture, platform capabilities, and career development within a forward-thinking team.

Responsibilities
  • Lead design and delivery of enterprise-scale cloud platforms for transformation and modernization
  • Define architectural strategies and align platforms with business goals
  • Collaborate with executive stakeholders to translate technical info for strategy
  • Shape technology standards, blueprints, and best practices across agile teams
  • Mentor architecture and engineering colleagues and contribute to knowledge sharing
Key requirements
  • Proven track record leading large-scale cloud transformation programmes
  • Experience communicating technnical insights to senior / C-level leaders
  • In-depth knowledge of AWS, Azure, and GCP across IaaS, PaaS, SaaS
  • Experience managing, coaching, and developing technology professionals
  • Eligibility for Security Clearance (SC) for complex Public Sector programmes
