In this role you will lead and shape secure platform design and delivery for critical defence and government services. You will operate as a technical authority across platform domains, guiding projects from design through delivery in an agile, team-focused environment. You’ll work on on-prem, hybrid, and cloud platforms, solving complex needs with secure-by-design principles. This is a hands-on leadership role with mentoring responsibilities and a strong emphasis on cross-functional collaboration to meet mission-critical goals.

- Act as technical authority across one or more platform domains (e.g., cloud, virtualisation, automation, networking, cyber tooling).
- Lead design and implementation of secure platforms across on-premise, hybrid, and cloud environments.
- Capture and interpret complex requirements to drive system design and architecture.
- Develop high- and low-level designs aligned with secure-by-design principles.
- Own technical delivery within work packages, including planning, estimation, and progress reporting.
- Mentor and develop engineers to raise capability across the community.
- Contribute to technology strategies, feasibility studies, and innovation projects.
- Engage with stakeholders to present and justify technical solutions.
- Extensive technical expertise across multiple platform domains with a record of delivering secure solutions.
- Ability to balance hands-on engineering with technical leadership and mentorship.
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to innovate for complex challenges.

- Experience across the systems engineering lifecycle
- Design and assurance of secure data flows across trust boundaries
