- Lead cross-team evolution of middleware patterns and runtimes for scalable interoperability
- Define and enforce versioning, deprecation, and rollout strategies to minimize breaks
- Drive shared observability baselines (SLOs, error budgets) and resilience patterns across services
- Design, test, and optimize software solutions to meet business and operational goals
- Guide engineers through SDLC, lead code reviews, and coach on architecture
- Develop features, ensure accessibility, and document software design and code
- Implement comprehensive testing, logging, monitoring, and observability for debugging
- Troubleshoot API functionality and integration; implement API versioning and lifecycle strategies
- Contribute to software system architecture and provide technical leadership to team members
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment with architecture; perform performance optimization and scalability work
- Participate in planning/execution across moderately complex projects; mentor junior staff
