Principal Product Consultant

As a Principal Product Consultant at Kainos, you lead engagements from concept to delivery, shaping product strategies and business cases in agile, user-centered contexts. You’ll mentor a small team and drive performance in a fast-paced, transformation-focused environment. Your deep product management and stakeholder skills enable you to counsel clients, translate business needs into functional requirements, and guide multi-disciplinary teams toward tangible impact. • Lead and assure engagements from initiation to completion
• Shape product strategies and business cases
• Coach and develop senior staff and manage performance

• Maintain strong commercial awareness and deliver within project constraints

• Extensive product management knowledge
• Strong UX, Agile and Programme Assurance experience
• Experience in at least two major business verticals (e.g., Telco, FS, Retail)
• Experience in at least two business application environments (e.g., CRM, eCommerce)
• Proven ability to communicate with C-level stakeholders and coach clients
• Broad business and technology understanding with industry trend awareness
• Experience delivering as part of an agile team
• Line management or coaching experience
• Excellent facilitation and ability to drive outcomes from diverse groups
• Ability to plan and lead engagements end-to-end
• Strong commercial awareness and project constraint management
• Adaptability to lead in new disciplines
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong ability to translate business requirements into functional specs
