Overview

In this role you will act as the technical authority for OpenShift and Kubernetes in large-scale, hybrid cloud transformations. You will shape enterprise reference architectures and governance while steering strategic architecture decisions for multi-cloud programs. You’ll collaborate with customers, Red Hat, and internal teams to develop reusable delivery assets and ensure security and resilience best practices. This is a high-impact, advisory role that blends consultancy, architecture governance, and hands-on delivery to modernise complex environments. You will mentor peers and help grow the OpenShift practice, staying ahead of cloud-native trends.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as the technical authority for complex OpenShift and Kubernetes solutions
  • Define enterprise reference architectures, standards, and best practices
  • Lead architecture strategy for large-scale hybrid and multi-cloud programmes
  • Provide governance and technical assurance across engagements
  • Support strategic pre-sales, bids, and customer workshops
  • Advise senior stakeholders including CTOs and Heads of Engineering
  • Drive security, resilience, and operational best practices
  • Collaborate to develop new propositions and reusable delivery assets
  • Mentor consultants and architects and grow the OpenShift practice
  • Stay current with cloud-native technologies and industry trends
Key requirements
  • Extensive experience designing and delivering enterprise OpenShift solutions
  • Expert knowledge of Kubernetes, container platforms, and hybrid/multi-cloud architectures
  • Strong consultancy and enterprise architecture experience in complex environments
  • Experience defining architecture standards, governance, and best practices
  • Proven ability to lead large-scale cloud transformation programmes
  • Strong stakeholder management with senior technical and business leaders
  • Experience supporting complex pre-sales engagements
  • Mentoring skills and a passion for developing consultancy capability
  • Excellent communication translating technical concepts to business outcomes
