As a Principal Software Engineer in the E3D development group, you will maintain and enhance desktop and cloud applications. You work in scrum teams aligned to engineering disciplines to deliver and modernise a broad feature set. You drive quality through automated testing, refactoring, and best practices, making timely decisions on workloads. This role sits at the intersection of industrial software, AI and cloud strategy, offering meaningful impact through scalable, reliable solutions.

- Design, develop and implement features per Product Owner requests
- Analyse, debug issues from internal and customer sources
- Drive quality via automated testing, architectural refactoring, and best practices
- Demonstrate sound workload planning to ensure timely delivery
- Experience developing professional software applications using C++ and/or C#
- Awareness of industrial engineering and/or factory plant design
- Familiar with Git and Azure DevOps build pipelines
- Experience practicing Agile and Scrum methodologies
- Efficient/Organised time management
- Problem solving and investigative mindset
- Commitment to quality software that is reliable and scalable
- Fortran and/or PML (desirable)
