Principal Software Engineer

In this Principal Software Engineer role, you will lead multi-disciplinary teams to deliver end-to-end digital products for diverse clients. You’ll balance hands-on engineering with people leadership, shaping delivery, quality, and client value. The role spans multiple domains, offering exposure to cutting-edge tech and cloud-native deployments. You’ll contribute to internal tech communities and drive impactful solutions in a consultancy setting.

• Lead client accounts holistically, covering people, delivery, quality, and commercial aspects
• Grow and mentor engineering teams and teammates
• Design and deliver backend services across multiple integration paradigms (API-driven, message-driven, event-driven)
• Build, deploy, and operate cloud-native apps on AWS and/or Azure
• Define product/service strategies and enable value-driven outcomes using AI capabilities
• Participate in internal and regional engineering communities to share knowledge and shape tech conversations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact digital products

• Significant experience leading teams and mentoring engineers
• Strong stakeholder relationship management with a results focus
• Extensive backend experience across integration paradigms
• Fluency in Java, C#, Python, TypeScript, or React
• Recent experience with cloud-native deployments on AWS and/or Azure
• Experience defining strategies and delivering products/services using AI (Agentic AI) with professional-level certification (optional)
• Background in DevOps practices and automated testing
