Technical Skills

• AWS architecture (intermediate)
• Data engineering architectures and patterns (intermediate/advanced)
• Large scale streaming analytics experience (intermediate)

• AWS specifics - EKS, Lambda, IAM, S3, VPC, CloudWatch (intermediate)
• CDK (basic)

• Ability to work unsupported high-side in a high-profile, fast-paced, large scale, cross-supplier environment.
• Happy to work with significant levels of uncertainty and communicate the reasons for frequent change to multiple stakeholders.
• Communicate and influence at all levels from engineer up to customer director level.
• Technical team leadership skills.
• Proxy product ownership skills.

Although you will be leading a team of talented engineers, you will need to be able to context-switch between high-level customer meetings and low-level hands-on engineering activities, unsupported by your team when required at short notice (for example if failures are observed in a high side running system requiring patching or to working with high-side only code).

Gloucester - You’ll find our Gloucester site in a business park two minutes from junction 11A of the M5; The site allows easy access to our local customer base. Set on the outskirts of the Cotswolds, you are never far from a picturesque view or lunch time walk.
