Responsibilities
  • Lead technical decision-making within your squad and influence engineering standards across the organization
  • Design and build software delivering exceptional experiences for millions of customers
  • Tackle complex architectural challenges and balance today’s needs with future opportunities
  • Drive improvements in software quality, reliability, scalability, and security
  • Champion modern engineering practices to speed delivery and confidence
  • Collaborate with Product, Architecture, and Engineering to turn ideas into products
  • Enhance CI/CD capabilities and promote a culture of automation
  • Coach and mentor engineers to support their development and raise technical standards
  • Identify technical risks early and guide teams toward practical solutions
  • Share knowledge internally and externally to strengthen the engineering community
Key requirements
  • Strong hands-on experience building modern software solutions using Java and AWS
  • Track record of designing and evolving complex systems at scale
  • Passion for clean code, quality engineering and continuous improvement
  • Experience mentoring engineers and raising technical standards across teams
  • Strong communication skills and ability to explain complex ideas simply
  • Curiosity for emerging technologies and a desire to continually learn and evolve
