In this role you will provide technical leadership for shared software components across Elekta’s product portfolio. You will guide architectural direction, ensure secure and scalable solutions, and advance engineering practices. You’ll mentor engineers, drive safety and cybersecurity initiatives, and collaborate with architects and product teams to deliver high-quality software worldwide. Responsibilities
  • Lead design, development and maintenance of shared components/services using C#/.NET for cloud and on-prem deployments
  • Define APIs and integration contracts ensuring interoperability and backward compatibility
  • Guide architectural decisions balancing performance, scalability, security, reliability, maintainability
  • Drive software quality via code reviews, CI/CD, and engineering standards
  • Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis of complex product, integration and customer issues
  • Contribute to safety, cybersecurity, risk management, including vulnerability remediation and documentation
  • Collaborate with architects, product teams and engineering leaders on priorities and delivery plans
  • Mentor engineers to elevate technical expertise and software quality across the organization
Key requirements
  • Extensive software engineering experience with C#, .NET/ASP.NET Core and distributed systems
  • Experience designing reusable services, versioned APIs, microservices and event-driven architectures
  • Strong experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, cloud-native technologies and modern deployment practices
  • Knowledge of CI/CD and automated testing; experience with Azure DevOps, Jenkins or equivalent
  • Experience leading technical initiatives, influencing architecture decisions and mentoring engineers
  • Strong problem-solving skills balancing technical quality, delivery priorities and risk
