Overview

As Principal Solutions Consultant, you lead the technical delivery of complex data-driven implementations and mentor the delivery team. You shape solution designs, set governance standards, and resolve escalations to ensure projects meet scope, timelines, and quality. You’ll work closely with clients and internal stakeholders to translate requirements into effective financial data solutions. This role offers leadership within a growing tech business and exposure to enterprise-scale data projects.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the technical delivery of client implementation projects
  • Provide mentorship to Developers and Consultants
  • Review and approve solution designs
  • Act as senior escalation point for technical and delivery issues
  • Drive delivery standards, governance and best practice
  • Support testing, defect management and acceptance activities
  • Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions
  • Ensure alignment of projects with scope, timelines and quality
Key requirements
  • Experience delivering software solutions in Financial Services, FinTech, SaaS or data-driven environments
  • Proven track record with reconciliation platforms, financial controls, transaction processing, or regulatory reporting
  • SQL skills (querying, data manipulation, performance optimisation)
  • Experience leading solution delivery or technical projects
  • Strong understanding of software development and implementation lifecycles
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Experience working with large, complex datasets
  • Ability to mentor and support technical team members
