Principal Statistical Programmer, Sponsor Dedicated (part time or full time) Fully remote in UK or South Africa ONLY.

As Principal Statistical Programmer at Syneos Health, you will drive the development of SAS-based programs for Tables, Listings, and Graphs, aligning with the statistical analysis plan. You will lead programming efforts across concurrent projects, mentoring others and ensuring regulatory-compliant outputs. You will serve as a technical expert on CDISC standards and SDTM/ADaM deliverables, collaborating with biostatistics and project teams. This role offers impact by shaping data solutions in a fast-paced, fully remote environment within the Clinical Solutions group.

• Develop custom SAS-based programs to generate data outputs per SAP and specifications
• Perform validation programming and resolve discrepancies with team members
• Maintain organized project documentation and ensure inspection readiness
• Lead programming activities and monitor progress of deliverables across projects
• Mentor and train programming personnel; contribute to SOPs and standard tools
• Provide subject matter expertise on CDISC standards and regulatory requirements
• Participate in sponsor meetings and provide status updates on deliverables
• Aim for on-time delivery and risk mitigation across programming efforts

• Extensive programming experience in SAS or equivalent in a clinical trial environment
• Ability to lead multiple complex/global projects with programming teams
• Knowledge of CDISC Standards and regulatory submissions
• Experience mentoring others in clinical trial processes and CDISC standards
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• English proficiency (read/write/speak)
• Undergraduate degree in a scientific or statistical discipline (or equivalent experience)
• Experience with SDTM and ADaM specifications and DEFINE.XML (preferred)
